Camila Children Cancer Fund

About Camila Children Cancer Fund

Every year more than 160,000 cases of childhood cancer are diagnosed and at least 90,000 children die of cancer.

But cancer detected at the early stages is curable.

The Camila Children Cancer Fund provides free treatment for poor children affected by cancer. The scheme was started in MMHRC in 2006 in memory of Camila N, a 2 ½ year child, by Dr. S. Jayabose from New York Medical College.

A normal period of treatment can take upto 3 years. MMHRC has already treated a number of children and it is currently treating children through the generous contributions of donors like you. Tax exemption for your donation from Income Tax under section 80G
