Cardio - Thoracic & Vascular Surgery

In 2005-2006 we have completed 1000th case of our department. There has been a significant rise in the quality of surgical work performed in the department though the numbers may not have risen too much. We have started Endoscopic harvesting of saphenous vein for suitable cases. The department of Cardio Thoracic surgery steps into new dawn of success. Every year, the department attains its utmost efforts and pains in curing each patient and ensures quality patient care and services.

Free Heart Surgery ''Save the little hearts"

Forty two children underwent free surgeries and 11 children amongst them have been operated totally free. Maximum efforts have been taken to help the economically-disabled children.

Endoscopic Vein Harvesting

A new technique was recently introduced 12 cases have been benefitted by this technique with satisfying and encouraging results. Once the disposables become easily available, this technique will be employed more frequently.

The Future

With the addition of one more surgeon in our team, we expect to expand and increase our work in the years to come. The past year has been a dynamic one and we are looking forward not only to a more challenging year professionally but we also hope to provide more philanthropic assistance to the needy in the lower socioeconomic group with the help of sponsors through 'Save the little hearts' activities.
